Every piece has a story
Case Studies
We transform worn, damaged, or outdated pieces into functional works of art that will last for generations.
1963 Eames Lounge Chair
This 1963 Eames Lounge Chair wasn't just furniture—it was a family legacy. Originally purchased by our client's father, it needed thoughtful restoration to honor its iconic design while adapting to a modern family's needs. We undertook complete reupholstery with specially selected matte black leather that maintains the classic aesthetic while offering enhanced durability for a home with children. Alongside the visible transformation, we replaced critical hardware components to ensure this design classic can serve the family for generations to come.
Møller Model 71 chairs
These Møller Model 71 chairs arrived with 70+ years of history and the wear to prove it—damaged leg joints and deteriorated seat cording threatened their usability. Our restoration focused on preserving their authentic Danish design while ensuring structural integrity for generations to come. Using traditional techniques and authentic materials imported from Denmark, we've given these treasured pieces another half-century of life.
DUX Recliner
This vintage DUX recliner arrived with its original upholstery and interior components intact but deteriorating. Our comprehensive restoration involved a complete disassembly to the frame, replacement of all structural supports with premium Pirelli rubber straps, and careful rebuilding with new foam and padding. The wooden arms received professional refinishing with toning and lacquer for durability. The transformation was completed with the client's stunning fabric choices—vibrant cobalt blue wool with a complementary green tweed headrest—creating a refreshed classic that honors its heritage.
