  • We specialize in the authentic restoration of Danish paper cord seating—a distinctive feature of many mid-century pieces. Using traditional techniques and materials imported from Denmark, we can restore or completely replace damaged cording to ensure both beauty and structural integrity.

  • Our hand-caning restoration preserves the distinctive aesthetic of these classic pieces. Whether your furniture requires traditional hand-cane, pre-woven cane, or pressed cane, we have the expertise to restore this delicate but durable material.

  • We provide complete reupholstery services—stripping pieces down to the frame, replacing deteriorated interior components, rebuilding with new padding and support structures, and finishing with your chosen fabric. Our work ensures your furniture is as structurally sound as it is beautiful.

  • For those seeking sustainable alternatives, we offer natural upholstery options using latex foam and natural fabrics. These materials provide excellent comfort and durability while minimizing environmental impact and reducing exposure to synthetic chemicals.

  • We design and craft custom cushions for lounge chairs, sofas, and other seating. Whether replacing original cushions or creating entirely new designs, we ensure perfect fit, optimal comfort, and visual harmony with your piece.

How it Works

Step 01

  • Submit an email inquiry with photos of your piece. We'll evaluate the project and provide a detailed estimate covering labor costs, material recommendations, and timeline (most upholstery projects are booked 3+ months in advance). Once you accept the estimate, a 25% booking deposit secures your place in our schedule.

Step 02

  • We'll arrange either an in-person fabric consultation at our Phinney Ridge workshop or send material samples for your consideration. This collaborative stage ensures your piece's new look aligns perfectly with your vision and needs.

Step 03

  • After material selection and a second 25% deposit, we'll coordinate drop-off of your piece. The transformation begins in our workshop, typically requiring 8-10 weeks for upholstery projects. We'll share progress updates and photos throughout this stage.

Step 04

  • When your newly restored piece is ready, we'll notify you for pickup (to be arranged within 7 days). We'll provide care instructions to ensure your furniture thrives for generations. Tag us on social media when your piece is settled in its new home—we love seeing our work in action!
