Willy Beck Teak Danish Draw-leaf Dining Table by Askel Bender Madsen and Ejner Larsen
Danish teak draw-leaf dining table designed by Danish architects Askel Bender Madsen and Ejner Larsen and produced by cabinetmaker Willy Beck, c. 1960. Features beautiful bookmatched teak veneer and subtle, tapered curves. Draw leaves slide in and nest under the table top for easy storage. Seats four to six, and eight to ten with leaves extended.
No tag found, but the original owner also bought a set of 8 matching dining chairs, also by Madsen and Larsen, available separately.
51.25" long, each leaf adds about 21.75", so with one leaf it is 73" long, and fully extended it is 94.75" long. It is 35.25" deep, and 29.25" high.
This piece has been repaired and refinished in satin lacquer.
