Conant Ball Maple Lounge Chairs, Restored Pair

$2,900.00

1940s pair of solid maple lounge chairs by Conant Ball, fully restored in our Seattle workshop. Their curved arms and spindle backs are reminiscent of Danish designs from the same era, with a decidedly American approach in maple.

We love the open wooden frames, which keep them from feeling bulky, and at just 25 inches wide, they’re a good fit for a smaller living room or a pair of reading spots. They are made for lounging, with supportive, high backed cushions and dense seats - they are very comfortable!

The maple frames are a warm honey tone, which we worked to complement with all-new cushions in a super soft, chunky, black-and-white wool blend fabric.

We refinished both frames in satin lacquer and replaced the seat straps and canvas supports. New seat and back cushions complete the restoration.

• Maker: Conant Ball, USA
• Period: Mid-20th century
